This podcast essentially began with 2 major studio series. Transformers and Twilight. Miraculously, and much to my dismay, the series about twinkling, brooding vampires in love turned out to progressively get better while the giant, explosion porn with robots somehow manages to progressively get worse! It hurts me to say, but the Transformers series continually tops itself in establishing new lows. Yes it still has excellent CGI. Yes it still has plenty of explosions to mystify. But it’s growing painfully more incoherent and self indulgent! I want giant robot fighting to be entertaining as much as the next guy, but this just wasn’t it. This tops Revenge of the Fallen. But hey, here’s to hoping The Last Knight brings it all back...Featuring Special Guest Stars Christopher Dillen Phelpsy Poo and Johnny Blue Eyes Baltimore!
