Twilight may have had
the biggest glow up of all time with Eclipse. Sure, it’s
not perfect. But compared to where we’ve come from? We’ve come a
long way. Sure, Jacob still refuses to wear shirts. Sure, Edward is
still moody and broody. And sure, Bella is still a vague lead
character. But with David Slade behind the camera this time,
something just clicks. And better yet, the plot kicks in before the
third act this time! Everything is better, and Alice and I had a
lot to discuss about why. Who would’ve thought that the guy who
directed that Black Mirror episode about the killer dog robots
would do a Twilight movie?
