We had another Oscar contender on this week, folks! That’s right, How The Grinch Stole Christmas actually won for Best Makeup! Hardly surprising considering this is probably the closest you could ever get to animation with practical effects. But is the movie any good? That’s what we set out to decide in the latest episode of BMP. Because as we all now know, just because Jim Carrey jumps around looking green and weird doesn’t always mean the content is good. That’s right, The Mask is overrated in my generation. I said it. We didn’t know better back then. I won’t spoil this review in the description, but if it helps entice you to listen, I can tell you that I make a case that this is top 3 Ron Howard films. I quickly backtrack to top 5, but I still think the argument is relatively compelling.
