Throwing it back to 2010 when I was a pretentious little teenager just dipping my toes in the water of ‘aspirations for Hollywood elitism’. In high school, Insidious was THE movie, mostly because high schoolers hadn’t had a good horror film to rally behind since Saw or maybe the first Paranormal Activity movie. But I, being the snob that I was trying to be at the time, was too good for the middling critical scores surrounding Insidious and therefore let it pass me by for a long time. But now, while I still am a pretentious jerk in most regards, I feel compelled to go back and give it a fair shot (mostly because that’s what this show is all about). The conclusions I’ve come to about this film may surprise you (that’s what we call a ‘teaser’ ladies and gentlemen) so I implore you to please check this out! Who knows? Maybe we’ll make it a series! Featuring Special Guest Star Greg Elephantteraki! Spell check just somehow came up with that as the spelling of his last name and it’s way too hilarious to correct.
